Maxillary sinus is a one of the biggest sinus that present below the cheeks,above the teeth and near the nose.

During upper back tooth implants placement ,dentist will examine for sinus position.Sinus plays a major role in implant placement.If one teeth is missing for longtime and sinus have been drifted from their position and comes down,we have to go for sinus lift procedure.

SINUS LIFT



Sinus lifting is a procedure,where your implantologist will lift up your sinus back to their original position,before implant placement .Because if maxillary sinus is downwards,there will be no space fr implant placement.so sinus lift is done.Once sinus lifting is done,bone graft material is placed over that region then implants are placed.So that implant gets osseointegrated with bone
